Mennonites love to sing. We sing in celebration. We sing in lament. We sing in worship.
When we gather, we sing.
Over the years, our hymnals have aged. Some are worn and tattered. Some are outdated. Some don’t contain the new songs we love to sing. We need a new collection that has our favorites, both old and new. We need a new collection that is compatible with the technology used in our churches, in our many ways of gathering together. We need a new worship and song collection that unites us and brings our voices together. We need Voices Together.
Creating a new hymnal is a rigorous and complex process. We need your financial support now to make this project a reality by September 2020.
MennoMedia is a small organization without the cash reserves needed to undertake such a large project. Your donation goes to support project staffing and expenses for our 13-member volunteer committee, and all the research and development that goes into creating a full suite of hymnal products.
Your donations will help deliver an affordable, on-time release of Voices Together.

Donations totaling $500 or more over the duration of the project entitle you to place a name in honor or in memory of another person, or to be named in the new hymnal yourself.
The new hymnal will be available in 2020 and will offer a variety of print and digital formats to allow congregations to access the music in various ways. The music will emphasize Jesus, reconciliation, community, justice and the global church. The language will be inclusive.
